Option 2 - Data-Driven - Perform driving test at multiple speeds, and record efficiency or power draw from the pack. Option 3 - Direct Car Connection - Provide method of receiving telemetry directly from the car via OBD, API, or other means. billatq Posted July 19, 2020 Share Posted July 19, 2020 I noticed that there's some level of alpha support for the 500e. It's not yet usable for me. I think the problem is that the vehicle only supports J1772 charging and the algorithm for looking for stations doesn't look very far off the route. This means that if I exclude all the car dealerships (which tend to have issues), then it's unable to find a route for me from the Boston area to Northern NJ. Putting aside the practicality of the trip, I think there are fewer stations listed than Plugshare, which hurts the ability to actually plan with it without DCFC.
