Glenn0349
Great planning with ABRP. However, trip from Grants Pass, OR to Springfield, OR estimated leave with 60%, arrive with 20%. Actual trip, left with 80% arrived with 10%. Hot day and felt like uphill all the way.
David
Grants Pass to Springfield is 136 miles and to use only 40% of stored power is not realistic for most EV's. For a Bolt, this would be 24 kw-h for an efficiency of 5.7 miles/kw-hr! Your actual 70% of stored power corresponds to about 3.2 miles/kw-h. In Northern California the highest power I have seen for my Bolt's A/C is 17%. The I-5 highway is high speed. Your experience is what I would expect. Jason-ABRP
I'm curious to investigate, when I plan the same trip using my own settings I see 100%-->22%, which is more in line with the "actual" result (Slightly more pessimistic than your actual result, actually). Could you post a link with your settings?
