Joggi
Before Abetterroutplanner, no one could tell me the effects on mileage for driving uphill. My request to the dealer was shrugged off. So we left unprepared with 3 people and 250 lbs on board for our weekend trip to Donner Lake, distance ca 175 miles, with an estimated range of 250 miles. No prob, I thought. A/C on, running at 69 mph. We stopped for lunch in Davis, CA. Driving I-80 with plenty of traffic, as is customary. Still maintaining 69 mph, climbing. Eventually, range anxiety set it! I reduced the speed and turned off t, he A/C. That had a minimal effect on the range. Finally reaching Donner Pass with 18 miles to spare, going downhill to the lake, the regen increased the miles to 25 miles. Phew! We joined our party and I told them about my un-conservative driving style. My granddaughter said that was not even close. She drives a Chevy Spark, and she got home one day with 3 miles to spare. Now that's a Phew!

David
Lunch at Davis is a favorite for me. You can charge at Davis Commons 500 1st St. Davis and walk to lots of restaurants. EVgo DC Fast Chargers are at the far side of the shady parking lot. There are many other DC Fast Chargers along this part of I80, especially EVgo. No need to worry here!
