Jürgen Baumann
Hi I found this planer quite useful. Anyhow the consumption for a Kona electric EV 64 kWh seems to be fairly ok. Example 1: Driving from Wallisellen near Zurich / Switzerland to Silvaplana via Julier pass ABRP comes along with 46 % of charge in Silvaplana, when leaving with 100% - temperatures 25°C - max. speed on highway 125 km/h. We reached Silvaplana with 46% . Example 2: Driving from Wallisellen near Zurich / Switzerland to Falera comes along in ABRP with 59 % of charge, when leaving with 100% - temperatures 25°C - max. speed on highway 125 km/h. We reached Falera with 62%. That's not a too bad prediction.
Lennard de Klerk
So far I come to the same conclusion. However, I'm curious how the actual numbers will be in (very) cold temperatures. My Kona has only the less efficient resistive heating for the cabine (no heat pump). Which type of heating does ABRP use: heat pump or resistive? Jürgen Baumann
After 9 month on this car a first summary 11'100 km since April 2019. Energy consumption until today over this distance 13.3 kWh / 100 km. May up to 14 kWh / 100km after a full charge and end of this winter. Summer range 500+ km, spring & autumn range 450+ km, winter range 400+ km. Great car to drive.
Lennard de Klerk
My summary after 5 months ( 15 August - 31 December 2019): 7050 km, average consumption 15,9 kWh/100 km. So mine is somewhat higher. I live on the country side (no city driving) with frequent highway trips so maybe that explain the difference. @Jürgen Baumann: do you have heat pump for cabin heating or resistive heating? Jürgen Baumann
Heatpump. I live in an agglomeration and mostly we use the car in town. But beside this we also use highways e.g. during holydays. Last summer we went down to Italy Southtyrol. We took every pass of the alps an the way (Ofen, Flüela, Umbrail, Stilfser Joch) and passed the highway with running climatisation at 30°C outside temperature. In two weeks we drove some 1600 km and ended up after these two weeks with 11.9 kWh/100 k. We went from Bozen to Zurich (330 km stated at 100%) were back home with 39% of charge (some 185 km left)
