VJW
Description: Print out a route to a printer Use Case: I plan a route on my computer or mobile device and want to have a hard copy available. This is helpful for the co-pilot or for the case that there is no mobile coverage or mobile roaming charges are high. Maybe its there but I can't find it. I would have expected it under share, but there is only share to other apps as far as I can see.
Jason-ABRP
That's not something we've built out yet. I'll add it to our tracker!
Rav
As a work around would taking the share link for google maps and putting that into a browser and printing work for you? Mobile phone screen shots? When my wife and I travel we add the waypoints/stops to our iphone calendar. Then use carplay in the car to quickly get the next guided route. Would this work for you? maexxx
I would also appreciate an easy way to print out a planned route. Possibly share the route to an external app which can format and print it? I definitely want to see the time information in the printout though -- planned time for driving as well as charging stops. Thanks!
Dr DuMont
If you can get the stop by stop list to display, copy the entries and paste them into a spreadsheet. I've modified mine for some time calculations. Works fine as is. Or you can do a PrtScr and paste to MS Paint Edited December 20, 2019 by Dr DuMont Added a forgotten thought

All I would like is a simple easy print function.
Rav
Those suggestions were helpful but “Works fine as is” is a personal preference. Lets have a discussion of ideas and not dismiss any. Question - When the mobile app comes out would you still want to have a printout?

There are times where, for whatever reason (flat battery, network coverage, roaming etc), that a hard copy if extremely useful. When I plan with the Going Electric route planner, I have a hard copy for my wife. She can then add the next charger into the system. I can also add details when I am in my garage where there is no network coverage. Theoretically its possible to route in ABRP and then transfer to Waze, Apple Maps or Google Maps, but I have never been able to get this to work, and personally I prefer my cars navi to those options. Brandon Nickel
I would also love to see an export feature. I'm taking a 700 mile trip this weekend and I manually transferred all the data into a spreadsheet so that I can compare the calculated values with the actual values. I'd love to include the calculated total kWh and/or kWh/mi per trip segment (between superchargers). When I click on the graph it only shows the instantaneous consumption. Rav
Figured this out by accident. Rav
@Bo (ABRP) Could we also have a print link to google maps on the sharing window? COPY OPEN PRINT Click here for an example. Can it be reverse engineered and then used for any route without going through the google site? https://www.google.com/maps/dir/46.60346,-63.85938/46.0510567,-65.061238/46.122972,-67.604998/47.82017,-69.558776/46.05864,-72.312291/45.304556,-75.081806/46.3316987,-79.4720078/46.440602,-81.00485/46.5381429,-84.3172732/48.5921573,-85.2726388/49.26039,-123.11336/@47.0099243,-111.275167,4z/am=t/data=!4m2!4m1!3e0!11m1!6b1 Edited December 22, 2019 by Rav missing words
SR22pilot
I would also love a print function. I clicked Export to Excel but nothing happens (Mac user in Safari) and I can't find any directions on what it is supposed to do. Export to Google Maps puts in GPS coordinates for one city on a complex route. Among other things I want to get the exact hotel and attraction addresses I put into ABRP for a multi-day trip with attractions. It looks like all I can do is screen shots. Unfortunately, the plan will take a number of screen shots to capture. This is my first real trip use of ABRP and it is leaving me very frustrated.
