Sync with VW e-Golf

Recommended Posts

How do you typically send routes to your e-Golf? Is there an app sharing interface or something on your phone? We're happy to support it if you tell us how.

Personally, I use Google Maps in Android Auto in my Bolt, and once I have a route planned I click "Share > Share Next Step" which sends the next step to Google Maps.  The route might be a little different, but ABRP is pretty quick to replan and adjust to the route Google is taking me.

Hi Jason,

That is done though the VW "We Connect" website (previsosly called "Car-Net"), but it is a manual process requiering me to enter each step, so the easist way would proberbely be like you, open it in Google Maps and then plot in the waypoints manually on the VW We Connect website.

Thanks for the quick reply :)

I use the Wecconnect app if installed on a smartphone you can share the calendar appointments and the address in the calendar events can be shared with che car infotainment system

I have a eGolf build in November 2020. Just noch I testet Arbeiter route planer. It works very finde. It has an interface to tronity.io. Tronity.io get its data from We  Connrct. For Tronity.io I have to Pay prmanently. But I only need it as an Interface for ABetter Route Planer. I'd live to have a direct interface to A Better Route Planer.

But there is a small problem. We Connect supplies live datas online whyle ignition is offline. Better is an interface to We Connect Go. It also supplies live data from the eGolf. But it get its datas from a OBD data plug weile ignition is on only.  That is perfect. While the Carsten is Parkinson the datas will not very mich change.
