Gundersen
I just discovered ABRP but seems to miss out a few important options but it might be me not knowing where to enter them. driving from Denmark to Italy in two weeks and want to stay a night in Austria. i want to arrive at the hotel in Italy next day at 14:00 so it would be nice to be able to enter arrival time the same way as departure time. or at least be able to tell I will rest at the hotel for 10 hours before I drive again. I can only put in a long break at 30min the way I see it.

You can set a new departure time at any waypoint, so if you know when you're going to depart a particular waypoint you can click the settings icon next to the waypoint and set that time. You can also set a charging time for a given waypoint, if your hotel has a charger, and we'll compute how much charge you'll receive. Gundersen
Thanks, setting a departure time on a waypoint helps a lot and not something I noticed before.
MissT
How do I set the departure time for the next morning? If I enter 8am after 8 hrs driving, it takes that way point back to the beginning (assuming I started the day at 8am). I want to be able to set the number of hours on the road each day. I'm trying to plan a 25hr trip tot Florida
George in Oregon
I would also see the overnight stay include the option to use the motel's charger to leave with 100% charge. This will almost always be the case when a hotel offers charging as a feature of the stay. We just finished a trip of 2500 miles and used this feature 4 times. ABRP couldn't reflect this and to use it we routed our trip to the motel each time. We then started a completely new trip from the motel except the phone app only did kilometers and couldn't use it. Finally we just printed the screens from ABRP using Microsoft's screen capture tool and printed them as jpeg captures. It works well and we could even print color. It was a lot of work but the trip was a complete success. It just took a lot of planning.

You can now do this. If you click the gear next to a waypoint while you're entering your route info, you can enter the "Charge here" info. If you know the hotel's charger info, you can put in the rate, otherwise if you're using a L2 charger, you can probably just guess about 3-7 kW. Then click the button to toggle from "FOR" to "TO", and enter your expected charge when you leave the hotel.
