gday
Description: Detailed description of the feature you want to add. Some routes that I often take, have some shortcuts that I know about. It would be ideal if I could drag the route (like Google maps) Avoiding highways and toll roads helps (yes, it would be nice to choose both) but the ability to make slight route changes would be wonderful. Use Case: Describe how you would use the feature, or how often. This helps us assess prioritization on new features. Remember, the more details you can add, the faster we can build out new features! I have pre-planned two routes that I am going to take soon after getting my Soul EV and I could use this feature for both. It would be much easier to compare my results with ABRP since I prefer not to follow the suggested route. I suspect this feature would be useful for trips that have some sections that are known to the users, sooner than bigger trips that are new, but even then most trips start in a known area with known shortcuts to avoid areas that slow us down! 1
Jason-ABRP
I've added it to our to-do list. We'll see when we can get it done, thanks for the suggestion!
evequefou
I'll second this -- particularly in cases where ABRP isn't routing the way that Google says is fastest, I'd like to be able to drag to a different route and compare. I do this currently by manually adding waypoints, but these aren't necessarily places I intend to stop, just ways to force a particular route. Dr DuMont
I said as much in another thread here, but I am glad to see another thread on the subject. Would be a great addition.

Same for me - Wolldecke be a great and easy to use feature
NormVA
ABRP is routing me through the middle of Washington, DC, vice around on the Beltway as Google Maps would do. Definitely not the way that I am going.
Katya-ABRP
Hi @NormVA, This doesn't seem to be related to the original topic, however I'd be happy to take a look at the plan to see if there's anything we can improve. Just attach a link to the plan. /Katya
dspanogle
Yes, drag a route to a different road/path. As of now we can create a waypoint and the add as a destination but that is the hard way.
mpcookson
Yes please! For instance, there are many chargers in the Chicago IL area, and the route is bringing me right through downtown to the Elston Ave Supercharger when the Bolingbrook Supercharger would probably be a better option because it will keep me out of traffic and probably doesn't change the route by much (going from Cottage Grove MN to Dayton OH). Apfelschorle
I'd also like to see this in a future version! I'd like to choose a more scenic route for my vacation trip through France, and adding waypoints often doesn't have the desired effect, but will just create a detour to and back from the waypoint.
