Joeri - Mr. EV Easy
I already have experience with my Volvo C40 and a caravan (1,500 kg), but in that case the consumption combined with the range was not displayed correctly by the car. That was (fortunately) a route I could cover on one charge. Now I am planning a route with several charging sessions, of which I would like to know the following: - I've read something about a OBD dongle. Is that recommended? - is it better to add weight to the car specs or increase consumption? - can I enter that I only want to use drive-through locations or that I don't want to use Tesla SuCs? This is in relation to uncoupling the caravan. Other tips are of course also welcome!

Yes, but unfortunately we're still not able to support the Volvo XC40. We've got an open feature request but we're still missing the OBD commands in order to be able to interpret the data from an XC40. Link to feature request: https://abrp.upvoty.com/b/obd-requests/volvo-xc40-support You can check all supported vehicle models and live data options here: https://abetterrouteplanner.com/compare/livedata/ More information about the OBD connection: https://www.iternio.com/abrp-obd On 4/13/2023 at 2:06 PM, Joeri - Mr. EV Easy said: - is it better to add weight to the car specs or increase consumption? You can edit both but an increased consumption value will be more important as aerodynamics are more important than weight in this case. We'd love to be able to filter on trailer-/caravan-friendly charging stations but unfortunately, almost no providers/databases include this information. You can however exclude the Tesla network in your settings for 'Network preferences'. /Katya
