Will ABRP via CarPlay suggest a charging stop when the destination SoC falls too low?

Hello all,
I've searched the internet and the forum and I've been unable to find an answer for this.
I was recently on a road trip in my Volvo C40. I left my starting point at 73% state of charge, ABRP estimated a 12% state of charge upon arrival at my destination. I was using CarPlay via my iPhone.
As the trip continued, conditions had my arrival SoC estimate drop all the way down to 5%, at which point ABRP told me to reduce my speed to 55 mph for the remainder of my trip to make it to my destination. As this was not practical or desirable, I wondered why ABRP would not also have suggested a charging stop (Google Maps AAOS does this).
Is this something that I need to change in my settings, or was there something in the app or CarPlay screen that I should have selected?
Thanks,
G
