Mike K
Where are you from? Queensland, Australia What car do you drive? Tesla M3 LR What's the longest trip you've taken in your EV? Not sure, maybe 600km I've been trying to use this app for about 8 months now, so still a new user. I have tried watching Youtube videos, I've mentioned my frustrations on EV groups, but I seem to be the idiot who can't figure it out. For a start, a lot of the buttons and icons, don't look like buttons and icons, so I didn't know they existed, even though they were right under my nose! They are the settings button top left, which is the ABRP logo, and the bottom right button, a big blue circle. I can't find a help menu, I can't find instructions, at times I couldn't modify my start time and date, I can't change my starting battery percentage, it doesn't show the true SOC from the car, even though I'm about 3 metres from it,(the car is connected to the app, as far as I can tell) the car is at 82%, but the app has my starting level at 90%, and I can't reorder the waypoints. What is the "Restart"button? Is it to recommence the route after a coffee/charging break? Or start over when I've stuffed up the route I'm trying to plan? Also, when I open the app, there is a big banner saying "Not on route", as the previous route is still showing on the screen. I can't figure out how to clear the previous route, or how to save a route. There is so much that is not intuitive, or obvious. Some clear, simple and easily understood instructions would be great. I believe the app, and what it's capable of, is great, but I just can't even do the simplest of operations with it. Sorry for the major whine, but I'd really love to be able to use it. Katya-ABRP
Hi @Mike K, Your vehicle has been disconnected and needs to be linked again, please see; https://www.iternio.com/faq?questionId=57200510-616e-4a57-bf62-d73765c1d505&appDefId=14c92d28-031e-7910-c9a8-a670011e062d Documentation, intro and FAQ can be found at; https://www.iternio.com/abrp-documentation Restart button = clear added waypoints, restart planning 'Not on route' message is displayed if you are in 'driving mode' ie, have started navigation. Click 'back' to exit and update the plan. This message is likely displayed because your car is disconnected and we think it is somewhere else still, while you and your phone is at a different location. To save a plan, plan it, then click the heart icon 'plans' and you'll get the option to save the current plan. For any further assistance either contact support or submit a bug report via the 'Support & Feedback' section at the bottom of the settings menu. /Katya

You are not alone. This has to be one of the most abstruse, exasperating and difficult to use interface I have encountered. Just about every time I figure out by trial and error how to do something, the interfacce changes without warning, and I am purpling the welkin once again. Dammit, it is an excellent idea, and a ver nice app to use. But it seems that the money I have paid for my membership would have better been spend on wine women or song. I sogn on now, and no longer can see the line by line listing of the journey I want to take. Modifying the journey (such as making stopovers) has apparently vanished into thin air. So, it's not just me, and it's not just you. It makes sense to someone somewhere, I guess, but Chinese arithmetic seems a lot more user friendly. I do not use Outlook. I do not want GMail to submit my information to Microsoft. I do not have a Microsoft account. I am a paid member of ABRP yet I cannot seem to submit bug reports or get answers to my questions. hy not just "submit questions to xxx@yyy.zzz? I would appreciate an answer to me at my proper email address, drdumont@dumont.tv. 1) What happened to the line by line trip summary and ability to export it to Excel? The button (used to be to the left of the bullseye in the lower right hand corner) 2) How do you modify a line in the trip such as making a charging point a stopover, or changing the date of the trip start? This capability seems to have gone away. 3) Why can't I name a trip when saving? Instead I just have a list of trips Home...Home. Yet the saved trip option mentions trip names. What gives? I know this may sound pissy, but this incredibly non intuitive interface so hampers my use of an otherwise excellent trip planning tool that I may just say The Hell With it and try to find another. I've tried. There isn't another planner that works as well (when I can figure out this abstruse interface). Why can't you use standard browser conventions, like ESC to backtrack, scrolling using arrow keys, F1 for help, and so on? thanks, Blll Freiberger drdumont@dumont.tv
