rlmalisz
I am trying to plan out a drive from Portland, OR to Seattle for a concert in June. My vehicle is a '21 LEAF S Plus. Plan is for a mid-morning departure from home, stop for brunch in Portland, check in at our hotel for return at 2:30PM in Chehalis WA, continue on to Seattle, early dinner, concert, drive back to hotel, hopefully leave car on the their j1772 overnight. It does me no good to get to Chehalis before check in time. I am planning on a charge at Tacoma Nissan (free), and from experience last summer, that's about at the edge of comfortable range, starting from home at 100%. I'd rather kill some time charging before Chehalis, but ABRP stubbornly keeps adding the charging after. I have added a stop at the Castle Rock Select Market. ABRP thinks we'll be at 55% or so by there, which is probably based somewhat on live LeafSpy data driving winter tires in winter conditions. There's a J1772 there, as well as 1 CHAdeMO, which PlugShare shows a successful charge with last week. I'd much rather spend 20 minutes en route to Chehalis that kill time waiting to check in, and then charge after. ABRP doesn't seem to believe there's any option at that market but L2. If I manually put in the 50kW charge rate, I can put in time, can't put in departure %. Recalculating shows 20 minutes there getting me 4% added SOC...so it's clearly still using the L2 values. My hope/expectation would be to leave Castle Rock at 80%, skip further charging until Tacoma Nissan. But the web GUI is having none of that. There's DCFC at the Castle Rock stop. ABRP doesn't know about it, ignores me when I try to force it to route using it. How do I proceed? --Richard
