BMW iX3 Live Data - OBD or Tronity

Recommended Posts

Hi

All right then, have a look at the attached file. The structure is derived from the .trc file I provided in previous post.

Beware; I didn't update the equations, but I figured the attached XL file would help you find the right equations.

I'll drop my contact details in a direct mail, in case you have questions.

Hi Yves,

Thank you for providing these details. Some tests today with the given PID's gave the correct information (OBD Terminal).

Hi @Samuel-ABRP,

Any idea when the json file will be implemented in the ABRP app? A quick test today wasn't succesful.

Kind regards,

Are the files in this post the manual configuration?

OK Guys, Samual from abrp asked me to join this one for my bmw i4 m50.. I need to find the PID for the display soc? Anyone whom can help me with this one?

It seems abrp shows the batt soc and not the display soc....

Thanks

Hi all,

My Veepeak OBD doesn't seem to be compatible with DeepObd unfortunately.

Yesterday i did some tests with ABRP but it looks like the indicated SOC is a bit to optimistic. For example when i charge the car to 80% then ABRP indicates 82%.

Could it be that ABRP is now showing the Max Soc?

Kind regards

Yannic

Anyone with positive experience with a dongle that works with ios for this magnificent car?

the Veepeak VP11 OBD Dongle does not work with ios devices

I was able to connect the Veepeak OBDCheck BLE+ . I can see some data on ipad and also in ABRP, but still some issues

I did some tests with the VP11 and even with Android I was not able to get a connection.

I contacted Samuel from ABRP this morning with some images of the Veepeak OBDCheck BLE+ and I am waiting for feedback

I did a few more tests and its now also working on the iphone and apple car play

I still get a difference of 4% in the Battery but the prediction to arrive was perfect, I arrived with 78% at home.

Also the Reference consumption is from the Car and not the ABRP default value.

Both the OBD connection and TRONITY should still be functioning options. Should you experience any options with either you may submit a report here: https://abrp.upvoty.com/boards/posts/report-a-bug/

Thanks

I am a little bit lost here. Could it be possible to détail which OBD dongles are supported by ABRP in the ix3?

thank you!

Juste for the general information : I am using obdlink CX and it works perfectly with the IX3.

It is very small and absolutely not visible in the car. Connection with ABRP is flawless so far
