Hello,

I started connecting Tronity a few days ago and noticed, after a short while ABRP shows that it‘s not authorised for Tronity.

I already tried reconnecting, as well as deleting my VW ID.3 and adding it again multiple times. But everytime I get the Tronity status the App/Car is sleeping, then I force close the app and open it again, then ABRP fetches the newest data and after around 30 min to 1h I get the status „not authorised“ again.

Is there anything I can do so the two apps stay connected or do I maybe have to ask the Tronity Support for further information in this case?

Thanks!

Hello,

I also have this problem... The connection works fine for a certain time, then it's changed to 'not authorized'.

After deleting the car and reconnecting it works again, but only for a certain time until 'not authorized' again.

Best regards, gerk

Hi @JueSteiger, @PhilChill, @Witte52, @gerk, @Bubeli, @Seb_perpignan, @Herr Klaus, @Alexander Runge,

During the past weekend we experienced server issues which among other things led to some Tronity tokens expiring during downtime. We’ve since had the problem which caused these issues addressed and we’ve also requested Tronity to lengthen the tokens expiry time.

After this we noticed users were still being logged out which we ran by Tronity and they’ve now found and fixed the error so that you will stay connected.

You will however need to manually reconnect the vehicle in order for the Tronity link to work again. This is how:

1. Go into: Settings (detailed) > Car model
2. Click the cogwheel to the right of your saved vehicle
3. Unless you see the list of linking options displayed, unlink the vehicle by clicking the ‘unlink livedata’ button at the bottom
3. Select a linking option in the list
4. Follow the linking instructions

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Please let us know if you need any further assistance!

/Katya

I was emailing with Tronity and they say that they fetch the actual SOC every 2min for VW ID3/4. Can any ID driver confirm that?

I have previously read that it only get the SOC during charging.

Hi, unfortunately I can not confirm because I tried to disconnect the car (which I also deleted from the profile later) and reconnect it to Tronity, but the system, after entering the credentials of Tronity, always returns (for several hours now) that the message "Something went wrong please try again later!".

Hi @paniihaii16,

We're not able to find any ABRP account under the email address you registered here.
Please contact support via the 'Support & Feedback' section in the app or on the website so that we can get your user details and properly troubleshoot this.

(This forum is now intended for conversations amongst users, for official support please revert to the options listed in the 'Support & Feedback' section in the app or on the website)
