0 Sofia-ABRP
Hi @fredkapp, To setup your Apple Watch you simply have to open the mobile app after starting the Apple Watch app. The setup should be automatic. If it does not work at once, simply restart the mobile app. You can also try re-installing the Apple Watch app if you are unable to setup your watch. /Sofia
0 Bart de Boer
I installed the Watch app before upgrading to Premium and it would never activate, regardless of how many times I restarted (upgrade) the watch or phone, or the apps on it. Only after removing the app from the watch and re-installing, did the watch app activate right away.
0 Katya-ABRP
Hi @Bart de Boer, We have seen that it can take a couple tries to get the communication between the iOS app and the watch app up and running for the first time (or perhaps after an update/upgrade) but as far as we can see there's currently nothing which strictly prevents it from working. Worst case, a re-installation will do the trick. /Katya

0 Katya-ABRP
Hi @Xantrix, @Landmilch, I had a user report similar issues recently, and it seems to have been resolved by version 4.0.56. Could you check if using the most recent version solves the problem? /Katya
0 Sephzer
I have the exact same issue, same version of iWatch/iOS. iOS 15 / WatchOS8 / Series 6 It's a shame as I've only just subbed today.
0 Sephzer
So... I managed to get it to work on my iWatch after setting a route in the app, then installing and deleting the app on my watch a couple of times. Eventually it showed up with the SoC. Hope that helps. ABRP doesn’t open on the watch regardless of how many times I’ve deleted and reinstalled. I JUST purchased this. Please provide an answer before I have to 1 star this on the store, and ask for a refund.
0 Somerside
I’m having the same issues with Apple Watch. I’ve reinstalled both apps repeatedly. The watch stays unconnected. The interface for ABRP is clunky and it needs watch when driving. It needs fixing urgently or I am done with ABRP. The value is no longer there. Yep, the Apple Watch app is 100% useless!
0 TomTomZoe
ABRP iPhone App does not need Watch for driving. The Watch App is an additional feature, which is unfortunately not working since some months with Apple Watch SE and latest WatchOS. 0 TomTomZoe
With ABRP iOS App V4.2.0 the Apple Watch connects to the iOS App and works fine again. Thank you very much.
