I also wanted to see how it was road-tripping an EV, in this case my wife's BMW i3. I was thinking about getting an EV myself, which would make us an EV-only household. Even with the medium range i3, the Charlotte-to-Chapel Hill run--140 miles each way, wasn't bad at all Spoiler: I just traded-in our only ICE car left yesterday, to take delivery of a Tesla Model Y.
