Description:  Ability to select Eurotunnel or ferry for crossing the English Channel

Use Case: I live in the UK, so any European road trip involves crossing the English Channel. At the moment it seems quiet random about which method it takes, ferry or train. Even adding a waypoint to the exit of the preferred method when the non-preferred method is given just diverts the route from the current given method.

E.G. the route given gives the ferry but I’m actually getting the Eurotunnel. Putting in Coquelles as a waypoint just diverts me via road from the ferry port in Calais to Coquelles, leaving the crossing method as ferry, rather than changing the crossing to Eurotunnel.

I would use this feature every time I planned a route on abetterrouteplanner as I’d almost exclusively use the site for European road trips.

I can't get the planner to pick the tunnel at all! I direct it to the Folkestone terminal and the Coquelles terminal - and it has me coming out and driving to Dover! And the avoid selector means we become landlocked because ferries and car trains are the same things. Having said - it is still an amazing planner and the glitch makes conditions worse than they will actually be - so it isn't a deal breaker. Just irksome.

The tunnel works from France to the UK but not the other way around - some edit in OpenStreetMap the last week as obviously made the southbound direction fail. It would be most grateful if someone finds the problem and fixes it!

(We run new map imports weekly, but let me know if you find it and I will re-import immediately)

Edit: It works in the OSRM demo https://map.project-osrm.org/ so maybe it has already been fixed. I'll kick of a new map import and we'll see.

It turns out that the access for vehicles higher than 1.85 meters to the Euroshuttle line was somehow disabled in OSM. I added an access road, and also lowered the assumed vehicle height in our routing so that it passes the 1.85 meter limitation. Most EVs will be fine with this for now.

The changes should be available within 24h or so on ABRP.
