Jojo
Video 1: Calculating route with first preference set of charging stations. Look to the EnBw mobility+ setting with the red triangle. After that I delete all preferences. 20210603_124854_edited.mp4

Jojo
The settings are stored in my profil online for sure. But the old ones are always coming back after a while. Is it a problem of the red triangle? Do I have to save the preferences somewhere else? Can I use back button or the arrow to the left to leave the preference dialog to get it saved? Saving new preference sets is not working for me. Please fix. Thanks

Jojo
Hello ABRP I have a real problem here! I want to change the preferences and it's not possible. I logged out on all devices, uninstalled the app, deleted cache and data, changed the preferences also in a browser session, nothing helps. Please help. I also left the beta app program. Doesn't help. I'm premium user and can't use the app because it's stuck in the wrong settings. Not funny. Edited June 4, 2021 by Jojo
Sofia-ABRP
Hi @Jojo, Is this problem limited to the app or does it happen in the browser version as well? I took a look at your settings and found that you managed to change your account preferences to prefer Ionity, EnBW, Fastned, Aral and Recharge. Did you manage to solve the issue on your own or are you still experiencing this issue in the app? /Sofia
Jojo
Hello Thanks for coming back to me. I think it's a feature, not a bug, but it's poorly documented. I used mostly saved routes for my tests. And obviously the charging preferences are stored together with the route. This means the charging preferences is not a global setting, but is stored also as a route specific setup. This should be mentioned somewhere. Even it's only the name of the stored route at the top of the preferences window or something like that. If I change the preferences after loading a route, calculate it and than save and replace the old one, the preferences are stored correctly. So please make the global settings and the stored preferences distinguishable. Maybe storing the preferences specifically to a route doesn't make sense anyways. Sofia-ABRP
Yes that's right @Jojo, the charging preferences are saved to a specific plan. The same goes for all other preferences such as what vehicle you are using or what chargers to avoid. And when using a saved plan, the settings of the plan will become the settings of your account. We understand that this behavior is confusing and will look into how to make this feature more user friendly. /Sofia
ffetsred
I faced the same problem today and would like to see this at least better documented. In the end it is consistent with the behaviour of all other settings but it takes some time until I inderstood it. Meanwhile I created a "Default Settings" plan which I load before I start planning.
