Setting up car data to a better route planner.

Question

Can you help me whith a few questions please. Mg zs ev

Do you need to paid version to import car data to a better route planer pleaser. 

 

It say tourqe app is that the standard or pro version and how complicated is it to get it all up and running please.

Hi @Bluecruiser

You do not need a premium account for using live data from your OBD, a normal ABRP account is sufficient.

For OBD you need Torque Pro to import your car‘s special OBD PIDs. Torque Light cannot import userdefined PID‘s and therefore it is not useable for your car.

I use Torque Pro to import my real-time data into ABRP.  However, navigation freezes when doing this.   It works fine if I don't run Torque Pro as well.  Don't know if this is a common issue to everyone, or just me.

I am really struggling have got torque pro. But spent all afternoon and still not suceded in try to get the pid in to the torque pro app. 

To me it seems impossible could not extract the pid to start with and can not find the folder on torque Pro app to even put then in on Huawei phone or tablet have enable hidden folders but can not find it totally stuck and tottaly dispondant

The PID file (it is a text file with file extension “.csv”) has to be copied into the folder “.torque/extendedpids”. You have to create the folder “extendedpids” if it doesn’t exist within the folder “.torque” .
