Hi, I can't find any help on this.

I have an mg zs ev with OVMS giving live feedback to abrp. I am paying for premium abrp as well.

I set a route today for a journey I'm making in a couple of weeks. The state of charge of the car is 74% but abrp for some reason in the plan said it was 89% despite the icon on the map showing correct soc. I was going to the shop so thought I would see what happened when I got in the car. The percentage showed correct and still ok for the planned stop but I had an icon on the Android auto screen that I didn't know what it meant. I cannot find a guide that shows what the various icons mean. This showed a charger and a circle with kw and a question mark above the kw letters.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a guide for the various icons that may appear on AA screen?

Android Auto is still in beta and there is currently no documentation for icons presented in AA.

Do you mean that we in voice instructions said the SoC was 89%?

What you're describing sounds like the icon for the charger at the next charger stop. What is of importance here is the circle part as the color(s) of it'll show you the charger status. And then you also have the kW value in the middle of it.

What do the colors red, grey and blue in the circle indicate

Katya, on the phone the app reported incorrect soc. When I plugged the phone in and started abrp the correct soc was shown.

This may be ovms not sending the data until I plugged in and may not be abrp.

Im trying to figure out ovms which is all made up by volunteers and abrp beta, sometimes it works perfectly, other time I can't figure it out.

The next charger symbol hasn't shown up on a recent 400 mile trip where I rapid charged 5 times. This is the first time I've seen it. Now I know what it means it's a good thing, but as it was grey and had a question mark it didn't give much info

Red = Occupied
Green = Unoccupied
(These are only displayed for premium users when we have such data)

Blue = Functional [previously white square, green outline]
Grey = Assumed operational, we don't have status data
Dashed/striped = Broken [previously black square, red crossed]

Thanks for the quick response. Also, would you be able to tell what the parts in the circle mean. Some circles have 2 parts, while others have 3 or more and each part if colored differently. What does that mean?

@alan stone hmm.. could be some form of delayed update which coincided with you plugging in the phone? Or did this reoccur?

Sure! Each part of the circle represents a charger/stall.

No it hasn't reoccurred. I'll keep my eye on it

So then this icons mean similar to the circles?

Grey, you assume functional? Segmented green bar meaning the number of chargers? Solid green means a lot of chargers?

 

It would be so helpful to have a key available somewhere.
