doc
Could someone explain, what the Network Preferences actually mean in regards to the levels of priorities.. The prefer and exclusively settings are not intuitive to me.. I have a Tesla with CCS, pay for Superchargers, but have free charging with another network provider (Clever) including Ultra Fast Chargers. So on a longer trip I would prefer to ultrafastcharge (+100 kW) with Clever, second choice fastcharge (50 kW) with Clever or Tesla Supercharger. 0 Katya-ABRP
Hi @doc, A brief explanation of the different preference levels: Use exclusively and prefer You can select several networks to be used exclusively, but add additional preference for some of them within the exclusively used group. Use exclusively Excludes all other networks, only the ones with this preference will be used in planning. Prefer Networks with this preference will be preferred if possible over networks with no preference. Don’t care Neutral, no preference whatsoever. Never use this network Networks with this preference will be entirely excluded from planning. Currently it is not possible to rank preference for different networks. In your case I'd recommend to exclude any network you'd really not want to charge at and prefer Tesla, Clever and others. You can also create a group of "allowed" chargers by setting the preference to "use exclusively" and for the ones you'd like a higher preference for, you set 'use exclusively and prefer'. /Katya
0 tredlie
Dear Katya thanks for ABRP and the help with the preference levels! Unfortunately, I still do not understand the logic. Lets use an example. Like the original poster I have a Tesla 3 and prefer to use their superchargers. Thus, whenever within in reach I would go for the TESLA SuC. Then I have two cards: one for the EnBW network and the other from plugsurfing. How would you set this up in ABRP? I am already getting stuck with your explanation: "You can select several networks to be used exclusively" what do you mean: sound to me like a contradiction in terms. But I am sure that you can enlighten us. Thanks in advance Eildert Edited May 7, 2021 by tredlie typo

ABRP will then try to route you via only those chargers, but prefer superchargers where possible.
