Ensure correct calibrated reference consumption for specific car configuration

Question

How do I ensure that the logged data and the reference consumption calculation is linked to the car configuration currently in use?

I've linked my Model 3 using MyTesla to ABRP and set two different configurations for the car, "Standard" and "Cargo on Roof".

So far I have received a Calibrated reference consumption confidence for Standard (158 WH/KM, 65/69/58) and for Cargo on Roof (192 WH/KM, 54/81/81) but I am not sure that it has actually linked the data from the car to the correct Car Configuration. Thank's!

Hi @Thomas Danielson,

In order to have data added to the calibration of the appropriate configuration, just make sure to have the correct configuration selected. I'd also like to add that we do "clean out" older data to keep the calibration up to date, hence if you suspect you've had the incorrect config selected it'll be improved as you continue to drive.

My basic question is does the calibrations only occur when ABRP is in "turn by turn drive mode" with the right configuration (ie standard, bike hitch, roof cargo etc) selected for it to recalibrate, or can we just do the route planning and then independently do the drive? I assume it only calibrates when in drive mode and not by looking at historic drives as I can't see a way to assign a configuration to historic drives?

thanks!
