Ludvig
Devices I use: iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS version 14.4 Apple Watch Series 6, version watchOS 7.3 ABRP iOS app, version 4.0.36 (287) I wonder if this is a bug or a feature not yet developed by your ABRP team? It is possible for me to enable ABRP as an App for my Apple watch, and I can see the App as an icon at my Apple watch, but it can not open the App on the watch. When I try click on the watch icon, it looks like it's try open, but in a split second later the watch turns back to the Icons layout. I can also add the ABRP to a watch face layout. And when I do this, it always just show a 0 (zero) for SOC for my car at the watch face. Would be a VERY nice thing if this would work to see SOC directly at the Watch Face, and I think ABRP most have planned this since the option to add it to the Apple Watch is there, but sadly not working... yet! Looking forward to hear your reply(s) PS: I have a VW ID.3 car and enjoy very much use ABRP in my car via the new Apple CarPlay interface. Best regards, and thank you for a great App. Ludvig
TomTomZoe
I have the same problem, the ABRP watch app always seems to crash when I start it since the release of the first ABRP watch app. It appears for half a second when starting it and then disappears/crashes. I use iPhone X iOS 14.4 and Watch SE watchOS 7.3.1 @Jason (ABRP) Do you have an Apple Watch yourself to be able to verify this issue, or which other person of your team can doublecheck it? TomTomZoe
Today ABRP 4.0.38 for iOS was released. ABRP for Apple Watch now displays the SOC again.
TomTomZoe
@Katya-ABRP The ABRP Watch app starts now, but unfortunetly the app closes itself (or crashes or is closed through OS) after some minutes. I use iPhone 11 Pro iOS 14.4.1 and Apple Watch SE WatchOS 7.3.3. I start the Watch app and see the actual SOC from my Opel Ampera-e, then I start driving. Every few minutes I turn on the display of my watch and see that the app is still working. After a while I stop looking at the app regularly, then I think about looking at it again, so I turn on the display of the watch and now notice that the ABRP app is no longer running on the watch. Katya-ABRP
@TomTomZoe hmm, I've just had my watch updated to 7.3.3 as well and I'll keep an eye on this. Does it only occur when you're driving? Are you using the iPhone app simultaneously? Are you using CarPlay? /Katya
TomTomZoe
This happened on my watch while using CarPlay with the iPhone, and I havn’t started the ABRP App on my iPhone. i just opened ABRP on my watch, my iPhone is out of reach, so it has no connection, displaying „Loading...“. In this scenario the watch App also disappears after some minutes. I think the Watch App should not disappear itself in all cases, even if not connected, @Katya-ABRP? TomTomZoe
I verified the issue again through three trips: Now it worked like intended. Strange but fine.
