John_Br
Hi there, Just wondering: can I install Torque and ABRP simultaneously on multiple devices, eg: my android phone and my android tablet? If yes: has the token, that is been used as emailadress for Torque, to be the same on both devices? Or will that conflict and must the token be unique for every device? Grtz, John
TomTomZoe
It makes only sense to use one installation of Torque Pro. I don't know any OBD Dongle which can be connected to more than one device at the same time. You only need to upload your OBD data once, so you only need one token to use as password for Torque Pro Upload. But you can install ABRP on as many devices as you like. Torque Pro sends it's data to ABRP Webserver. Each of your devices, where ABRP is installed or ABRP is running from the website, receives your OBD data from the ABRP Webserver. You are right that it makes sense to use only one instance of Torque Pro.
bjg222
I have EVNotify set up, and it can be installed on multiple devices. Only one device has the bluetooth connection to the dongle, but the app on that device will send data to the app on other devices. I haven't yet tried to figure out how "real time" the data on the other devices updates while driving, though.
BarryH
dataflow between torque and abrp goes through webservices so is independent of devices. So you can use multiple devices
