Missing chargers in Portugal

Recommended Posts

Description: When I make this plan below it always give me that route, wich is longer, I've travel several times from that same charger, to Ponte Vasco da Gama, then to Reta do Infantado, and always get ther with some SoC.
And there is a missing charger in Area de Serviço de Alcochete in the end of the Ponte Vasco da Gama for this route.

Replication Steps:
  1. Every time I plan this route

If it helps the company that aprove the chargers Portugal is this - https://www.mobie.pt/contacts
They have an app, not very complete but have all the chargers in Portugal.

Also this guys "miio" have an app very complete with all the chargers, there email is - info@muvext.com

Hope this will help you guys, and you can interconnect with one of them to have live updates of the chargers in Portugal. (State, Cost, Availability, In Use, etc)

Keep up the good work.

Hi Nuno,

I'm sorry, but what is the issue? ABRPs list of chargers is incomplete? Or are you getting an incorrect route?

Thanks

Barry

Hi Barry, there are two separate problems.

1- The app is giving me a different route from the web browser, like you see on the above links, the route from the app is correct, the browser is sending me make more Km's and one charge that I don't need if I go to the route of the app, the charger in (área de serviço de Alcochete) on the end of Ponte Vasco da Gama is much closer and on route to the destination then the one of Aveiras de Cima.

2- ABRP's list of chargers is incomplete, the is a charger in the end of Ponte Vasco da Gama (área de serviço de Alcochete) on both ways that is not showing up, also near my house there are some PCN's that are not showing up, this one's I notice that they are missing, but if you want I can check others.

Let me know if I can do anything to explain this better.

The above links of the two apps (Mobi.e and miio) will give all the chargers in Portugal (PCR & PCN), the miio app is much more complete that the one from Mobi.e, the guys from miio app are all EV users, Mobi.e app is the official app from the company that approve the chargers.

Hi Nuna, clear.

ad 1:  which version of the website routeplanner did you use? do you have the issue in new.abetterrouteplanner.com as well?

ad 2: @Jason (ABRP): could you have a look at the source for the fastchargers in portugal?

Hi @BarryH,

ad 1: The website says 3.9.4 if I'm seeing it correct, (https://abetterrouteplanner.com/), on the website (https://new.abetterrouteplanner.com/) it give me the correct route just like in the app, so this new website is ok.

ad 2: It could be of benefit to ABRP if it could be interconnected with one of the two apps, like I said above the miio app it's much more complete, and much more use in Portugal, it give you the avaiability of the chargers (if they are in use or not, and what stall) and the price (PCR's here are paid) also they list the PCN's (that for now are free).

Thanks for the help guys, and keep the good work.

If I can help in anyway, please let me know.

@Jason (ABRP) the best and easier way to interconnect should be with "miio" app, the guys behind the app are all EV users and very helpful, the contact email's are, geral@muvext.com / info@muvext.com, they retrieve the info from the company (government company, not easy to talk with them) that authorizes and run the network of the PCN/PCR's in Portugal.

Is this what you're looking for?

Thanks! I've emailed them, we'll see if we get any response.

Did you get any response from them? I contacted them the other day to understand how to get a RFID card. At the moment the network is limited to locals, but they say they are working on a solution for foreign travelers.

They were very responsive. I referred them to you as well, since you were interested in live network data.
