conny
Hi. On my ID.3 there is two screens, one above the steering wheel and one main in the center. And with CarPlay its possible to utilize booth screens, for example can apple maps show directions one the small screen while you navigate with it. And when you look at the CarPlay API, it is supported to address both screens. So my wish is that ABRP also make use of the small second screen when in CarPlay mode. Thanks in advance. Right now it's just North up, This please, heading orientated eventually in 3Dish with autozoom… Might be just me but I’ve always had trouble with north up maps
BigKid
Right now it seems like the „CarPlay“ display is considered more of a second screen. I would love to have it as main screen so I can store my cell phone out of sight and still plan a route, adjust the current soc (in case no life data is available) etc.
Andrew Woodley
A few issues, bugs I have with Carplay, hoping they can be fixed. I was hoping I could plan the route on my phone and start navigation, then when I connect to CarPlay it would continue with the planned route, however it just continues on the phone and not on CarPlay. Also, when I save a route on my phone I can’t find it under saved on CarPlay (looks like a known bug) The same goes for recent routes (looks like a known bug) Also, when following route guidance on ABRP it shows points of interests, e.g McDonald’s etc, it doesn’t however show charging points on the map in Carplay unless I'm doing something wrong. I do wish I could manually enter SoC for my 2017 e-Golf. I own a 2019 e-Golf SEL Premium and have just installed the Vgate vLinker MC+ Bluetooth OBD dongle. On the first attempt, ABRP found the dongle, and live data is enabled with my iPhone and CarPlay.
ladkii
I’m not too sure that Apple is trying to protect its own Apple Maps software as they only provide EV routing for a few BMW and Fords.

If it doesn't, please submit a bug report through the 'support & feedback' section in the app / on the web. /Katya
