btrrtplnnr-2020
Description: When planning a route from Brussels to Riga, the route goes through Kaliningrad. While this is the shortest, this needs a Russian visum to enter and is not a recommended route. It would be good to be able to have a setting to avoid a certain country / route. Terry
Yes please! Another example is going from Ontario to BC. I prefer to stay in Canada and not drive most of the way in USA
Bo-ABRP
Yes, I have seen the use for this but I don't yet know exactly how to implement it (especially in a case like this where there is no waypoint or charger in the non-desired region, it just passes through). Will check what options we have!
Rav
Doesn’t adding waypoints address this? https://abetterrouteplanner.com/?plan_uuid=7c51f39e-f34b-492d-906f-d196de789ed3
VJW
I vote for this too. I hate driving near Paris, the ring road is the devils spawn!. ABRP always puts me on that road on a trip to/from Munich-Le Mans. I would love to see it a work a bit like Google Maps desktop where you can drag and drop a marker on the calculated route to a different road, and have the route automagically reroute that area. Jason-ABRP
Dragging routes is already on our to-do list! The main thing to figure out is how to do a good cross-platform implementation.
