  1. Thanks Jason, will try to record a full charge soon. However, I have done more calculating and actually it seems, you calculate the charging times for the 39 kWh model quite correct. In perfect battery conditions (cell-temp >25 deg Celsius) For instance ABRP calculates 25 Mins for a charge from 30% soc to 75% soc. This is correct and calculates with the max 46 kW charging rate (until 54% soc and slower further on) This is perfect. The reason for discrepancies seem to be slower real charging rates due to the temperature effect in low temperatures. For instance the mentioned charge would last About 8 mins. longer in low temperature conditions. Probably that was the reason for questioning the calculated rates. A user in the german Forum www.goingelectric.de asked the Question. 🙂
  2. Sorry, wrong Information. 76 kW x 0.609 = 46,2 kW max charging rate for the small battery model !!!
  3. Hi, in the Hyundai Kona Folder I have just posted an issue which should better be posted here I think. Only realised too late. Either Keep it there or move it here 🙂 Rgds, kaltuna
  4. Hi, I have a Hyundai Kona EV with the 39,2 kWh battery. The "a better RoutePlanner" ist very helpful and accurate in planning routes for this model. Thanks a lot for your efforts. The times calculated for charging are way too fast, however. Probably the reason for the fast charging times calculated is the fact that the route planner assumes the same charging rates as the big model, which is wrong. You can roughly use exactly the same graph-course of the big battery model and multiply it by (39/64) = 0.609. Thus assuming a 76 kW maximum charge rate of the big battery model under perfect conditions gives you a maximum rate of 39 kW for the small battery model. Maybe you can fix this issue in the planner and I will continue to monitor the Situation and Keep on validating. Thanks again for a very good and realistic tool !
